What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Le Bouillon is praised for its warm, chic ambiance and its authentic Parisian brasserie feel, making it a great spot for dates or events. While many find the food comforting and the value excellent, some reviewers note that dishes can occasionally be average or overly sour, and service can be brisk. The wine selection is consistently highlighted as a strong point, complementing the classic French menu.
"There was live music playing down the street, birds singing our entire time here and the server was AMAZING!!! The Bouillon salad with steak, impeccable. Great wine selection, fabulous art, dreamy all around!"

"I’ve been to Le Bouillon multiple times over the years, but I’ve never been fully satisfied with their dishes, which at best are just average. However, I can see the restaurant being a great venue for dates or events—the ambiance is warm, inviting, and chic, arguably one of the best in Omaha. Their food, for catering purposes, wouldn’t be the worst. The service is excellent, and the wine selection is well-curated, but ultimately, the food just doesn’t stand out. I tend to prefer La Buvette over Le Bouillon."
Gabbie Kim
"I had a really great time at this place. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it had a nice, relaxed vibe that made the whole evening enjoyable. The wine was excellent, and all the drinks we tried were really tasty. They had a good variety to choose from, and everything was made well.
Our waiter was super kind and very helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed and gave us good suggestions from the menu. One of the highlights of the meal was the frog legs – they were cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. I would definitely order them again.
The portion sizes were huge! You get a lot of food for the price, which was a nice surprise. It really felt like a good value. I ordered the chicken dish – the flavor was nice, though the chicken was just a little dry. But honestly, everything else on the plate made up for it.
Overall, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the setting was lovely. I really enjoyed my visit and would be happy to come back again."
