The coconut broth with grilled shrimp was delicious. Ordered mild and it was very flavorful with the rub on the shrimp giving the dish a subtle heat. At first glance, I wondered about portion size but it was very filling. The broth was delivered in a separate container, which permitted the satisfying experience of pouring it over the noodles and veggies and allowed the veggies to stay crisp. The peanuts added interesting texture. A good value overall. Yum. ". "The Chicken Momos aren't my thing, they're a bit plain and have a subtle sweet and cinnamon flavor. The picture for the Sprite shows a bottle but it's just a can. There also wasn't any utensils provided. In general, not a lot of food for the price paid.". Regional to Nepal, these dumplings are individually hand wrapped and served with one of our homemade sauces.

Beyond Blackstone, Omaha landed on the list thanks to a few other restaurants including the vegan Modern Love bakery and cafe, elegant European fine dining restaurant Au Courant and Kathmandu Momo Station, which brings an Aksarben shoutout into the mix (and also has a Blackstone location). Luckily they did not forget to mention the runza although — Sorry Runza the restaurant — is just referencing the generic meat pocket and not the beloved green-and-gold restaurant chain. Hanscom Park-based Carter & Rye supposedly has a great take on the runza, per writer David Lansel's notes on our Nebraskan city.

Hits: The momos, particularly the pork and chicken, are standout. And when the Burmese ramen is available, its a light, fresh version of the dish. Misses: We wished the filling on the vegan momo had a less crumbly texture.
