"Wow. The menu reDO is not good. Couple times ive eaten in and ive doordashed 3 times since. Miss that eggplant purple kush. Ive tried other options and theres soo much wrong. Broths were really tasty before and now they are bland and flavor is inconsistent. Writing this review because I think Im done with Ika. I doordashed today and one my poached egg was still raw and broken all over my noodles- I usually throw it out. Thenn my cucumbers had no sauce, Im eating them when I dig out a raw shrimp tail 🦐 yeaaaa im grossed out now.
Also idk what it is with the service . The waiters are so awkward and almost mean. Like Im sorry I cant pronounce Asahi right smh"

BEST Noodles Near Omaha in 2025 – Doordash
Typically, I have always heard that ordering ramen will never be as good as eating it in a restaurant, so I always prepare myself that it might not be perfect. I have ordered a few times from here and tried something new each time and I have to say I absolutely loved the Miso Ramen . Every ingredient complimented the next, it was rich and flavorful and fresh. Delivery or not it was fantastic and even the quality of the ingredients were so fresh. I was sooo happy with that and I think it's my favorite now. I also ordered the Spicy Cucumbers because it's 5 dollars and I typically like things like that. It's the simplest food thrown together in a sauce and made delicious. I loved this whole order and would suggest it to anyone 🤤 They also apologized for it taking a while but I thought it was delivered with great timing and communication!". "my go-to's are the miso ramen (add extra pork shoulder- you won't regret it!) and the pork belly steam buns! so yummy every time! I tried the Tokyo fried chicken and it was sweet and salty and so delicious! also highly recommend the Benson bomb! chef's kiss!

Restaurant Review: Ika Ramen & Izakaya
Located in a thin restaurant just off Maple St., Ika has a modern, borderline hipster atmosphere. Guests seat themselves and order from a menu filled with different broth and protein combinations. If ramen isn’t your thing, there are several varieties of poke bowl, Donburi dishes (sticky rice bowls), and a host of tempting appetizers.

Ramen, shared appetizers, donburi bowls and a new basement bar. Ika has struck a new balance of funky and delicious in Benson; Kaitei brings a boozy, Japanese-inspired drink menu to the basement. Across the board, Ika has improved: ramen is better, with more depth, appetizers are excellent.
