"Barrios Fine Mexican Dishes – A Great Spot for Date Night
We had a really enjoyable date night at Barrios. As the evening went on, it did get a bit crowded and noisy, but that’s to be expected at a popular spot.
The food and drinks were fantastic across the board. Like many restaurants these days, they seemed a little short-staffed. Our server was friendly and worked hard, but she had too many tables to manage, which slowed things down a bit.
We started with cocktails—I had their unique take on an Old Fashioned, served smoked in a crystal skull. It was both visually impressive and delicious. My friend had a margarita and said it was great.
For dinner, we both went with tacos—I had the fish, and she had the beef. Both were flavorful and satisfying. We wrapped up the meal with the “No Sleep Till Jalisco” coffee cocktail, which was so good it could double as dessert.
Overall, a great experience with creative drinks, tasty food, and a lively atmosphere. Would definitely go back."

"Upon arrival, I was able to pull my previously made reservation forward which was totally appreciated. We were served by a very friendly gentleman with an uplifting personality who recently moved from DFW, excellent service. Food was pretty good, we tried the fish and lamb tacos and I was able to have the kale salad and add fried cod to it, the avocado Serrano sauce combined with capers was amazing but rather spicy for people who don't have tolerance for spicy. I was impressed by the drink choices and their presentation. Last not least, dessert was pretty good too."
