Reviews Summary

Bimini's Oyster Bar & Seafood Market is lauded for its incredibly fresh seafood, laid-back island atmosphere, and friendly service, making it a beloved local haunt. While many rave about the oysters, steam pots, and casual vibe, some reviews mention inconsistency in seasoning on certain fried items or a less-than-creamy clam chowder. Despite occasional waits, diners often find the experience worthwhile for its authentic seafood offerings and lively ambiance.

"The oysters were shocked perfectly and they were delightful. Husband got the fish fry with grouper, shrimp and scallops. Everything was great except for the grouper lacked seasoning. The scallops were our favorite on the fried platter. Bimini has a store next-door, we went in to look for fish, but the market was closed for the season. The young lady that worked in there was super sweet! Did not catch her name, but she had brown hair and dimples and probably one of the nicest Persons we met in Myrtle Beach. She is definitely a keeper :-)"

"Visited Myrtle Beach South Carolina and got there late. Most restaurants were closing at 10PM. Found Bimini’s where they had conch fritters. Being from CT, we found their New England clam chowder watered down and bland. Maybe it’s just us, we are used to a creamier version. Mozzarella sticks were great. They have indoor and outdoor sitting. We also prefer our chicken wings crunchy and the wait staff was quick to attend to that. Service was good. Happy to eat before we call it a night from the long ride from CT."

"We only had a couple of nights in town and chose this as our restaurant to eat seafood, our serve Luigi was great! He was very personable and knowledgeable in the menu and seafood options. We got calamari as a starter, it was my kids first time trying it and all 3 loved it my husband said it was great as well! The hush puppies were some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had almost every place in Calabash, these are now my new favorite! The fried fish was great, but my fried shrimp was very overcooked and didn’t taste super fresh. I would definitely return!"
