What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
La Forge Casino Restaurant offers a historic dining experience with a pleasant atmosphere, particularly its outdoor seating overlooking the Tennis Hall of Fame courts. While many guests praise the food, citing delicious clam chowder, baked cod, and salmon dishes, a recurring concern is the slow and inconsistent service, especially during peak times. Despite some order mix-ups and long waits, the unique location and enjoyable ambiance make it a memorable spot for many.
"What a wonderful experience. It's a soul food for me. The salmon was grilled to perfection. Coffee is great. The Irish Bread Pudding was amazingly delicious. Jamie is kind and great."

"The opportunity to dine here where the first US Open happened is quite an experience. Unfortunately, while the food was delightful and the atmosphere pleasant, the service was not up to par. The food took a very long time to come out, and then it was a nearly equally long wait to get a check. It did not seem to me that the place was too busy in the back, so perhaps there was a staffing shortage; regardless, we were definitely not completely satisfied with the experience just due to that."

"The food was incredible, however every one of our orders was wrong 🤣 I asked for chicken salad and got the turkey sandwich, my fiancé asked for bone in wings and got boneless, and my mom asked for dressing on the side and they put the dressing on. Honestly, we were fine with what we got. It was very busy for lunch on a Saturday and they were clearly understaffed. I will say the clam chowder was some of the best I’ve ever had. It was also nice to see inexpensive mocktails. I’d still go back!"
