Reviews Summary
Husk Nashville offers a unique farm-to-table experience in a historic mansion, praised for its creative Southern dishes and excellent ambiance. While many rave about the quality ingredients and dishes like the cheddar biscuits, some diners find the menu limited, portions small, and prices high for the overall value. Service is generally regarded as attentive and friendly, but occasional comments mention discomfort with ordering decisions.
"We loved our meal and overall experience! The restaurant and ambiance is truly delightful along with the food! Our server Kristen K. was phenomenal and helped us pick out some delicious menu items we may have not otherwise chosen as well as helped guide us with some delicious wine pairings! Definitely coming back to try more and to try brunch!"

"The food is hands down amazing- every dish we had was some of the most delicious food I’ve ever had in my life.
Service was wonderful and the atmosphere (we ate in the dining room near the front of the restaurant) was really nice and felt private.
Drinks were amazing as well!"
Margaret McClaskey
"I am reposting my review to add a couple of good things I forgot and to elaborate on another because I appreciated the owner feedback on my original post. The food was good and we loved the garden freshness! The biscuits were yummy. The oysters were great! However, some dishes were a bit too acidic like the salad, and the overabundance of acidic slaw on top of the tartar masked the flavor of the beef. The country ham and peaches was a fail and felt a bit disjointed with the peanuts; I did not notice any carmelized cream on the plate and the peaches were almost undetectable as globs of jam were overpowering sweet and the roll was a bit dry. The Pig ears app was great with all the fresh raw garden components but needed a bit more pig ear for a balanced bite. The swordfish was cooked well, but way heavy handed with the horseradish and potatoes could have been a bit smaller and more tender, fennel was nice. The downstairs seating by the garden was lovely. Overall, we had fun with the dishes and the quality ingredients, but the balance was a bit off. I wanted to add one last comment that the coffee pudding with orange shaved ice was divine! I will be back for another! Im really torn between giving a 3 or 4 on the food because some was a 3, some a 4, and the pudding even a 5! I do recommend dining here!"

21 of The Best Restaurants in Nashville, Tennessee
With his high-concept McCrady’s and his more rustic Husk—both in Charleston—chef Sean Brock transformed perceptions of Southern cooking from heavy, simple fare to a culinary tradition that is rich, complex, and filled with history. He worked with experts to resuscitate countless heirloom vegetables and grains lost to the agriculture industry, many of which reflect the region’s deep immigration roots (rice varieties from China; spices from Africa). He also changed the game with this simple rule: No ingredient north of the Mason-Dixon may enter the kitchen.

One of Nashville's very best restaurants, Husk brings its A-game to its brunch menu as well, with a bevy of seasonal, local ingredients, paired in unusual ways. Husk's conceit is that while all the ingredients are from the south, the food on offer isn't necessarily southern. Because the menu changes based on seasonality, it is hard to pin down what will be served on any given day, but options such as crispy pig ear lettuce wraps, omelets with ramps, and soft shell crab Monte Cristo aren’t out of the question.
