Fido, Bongo Java’s sister location, is one of the most popular coffee shops in the metro area located in the heart of Hillsboro Village. With a place so close to Belmont and Vanderbilt, Fido has a youthful crowd of students and creatives. Fido is pretty roomy, but it can fill up quickly at peak hours.

And it used to be a pet shop in Hillsboro Village, hence the name. Since the year 2000, Bongo Java began roasting their beans at their East Nashville location, and Fido began focusing on the food. Today, Fido combines the best coffee in Nashville with a casual restaurant.

We also serve the “Local Burger”, a popular burger from Owner John Stephenson’s days at Fido. The burger combines local lamb and beef, with parsley and feta in the patty. Served on our house bun with caramelized fennel and fig aioli, crispy onions, and havarti cheese.

Fido is the right choice to start your day off, with a first-rate breakfast in the city. Choose from a number of great egg dishes including classic bacon and eggs dish or something a little spicier, such as huevos Cubanos. So much of the menu is absolutely delicious.
