Reviews Summary

AVO is highly praised for its creative and delicious 100% vegan cuisine, with many reviewers noting that even non-vegans are impressed by the flavors. The vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff also contribute to a memorable dining experience. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, a few diners found the menu a bit limited, though desserts like the cheesecake are consistently a hit.

"10/10 highly recommend. From the sauces to the fried mushrooms. I enjoyed having dinner here and trying their tapas menu. The services was fantastic and the cocktail was refreshing. Great place to come and have a nice dinner in or outdoors."

Dani Young

"The place is very nice, and the price is reasonable. All the staff was great and very helpful. I will say the menu is a bit sparse.

I tried the mushroom tacos, and they were very earthy for lack of a better word. Everything is made fresh, but some of the ingredients are not necessarily of my taste. I will say that my toffee cheesecake was delicious!

This was just my first visit, I will come back and try something else next time - hopefully I'll find something I like a little better. I am glad that they are here serving the vegans!"

Bad Kernel

"Everything about this place screams five-star experience, from the warm, welcoming staff to the absolutely phenomenal food. The team here is not only friendly but incredibly personable and genuinely hospitable.

And get this, it’s a vegan restaurant! But trust me, even if you’re not vegan, you’ll fall in love with the flavors. Every bite was a 10/10. Thoughtful, delicious, and beautifully prepared. I’d recommend this spot to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. You don’t have to be plant-based to appreciate just how good this place is!"

Enter places like Avo with its deliciously confusing chocolate avocado tart (and sustainable metal straws); and the soul-food vegan restaurant, Vege-licious, with its intrepid vegan version of a Philly cheesesteak. Gone are the days when healthy food in Nashville was simply tolerable. The city is now at the point where nearly every vegan spot is at least trying its hand at a plant-based version of Nashville hot chicken — and with surprisingly good results.
