"It has been a while since our last food experience, but tonight I chose to dine at T-Michaels Steak and Lobster.
I do not know why I was craving steak. Truthfully, I do not eat steak often. Yet, there I was. Seated in a cozy table by the window overlooking the dark bay. The house was packed.
First, the bread. Warm, fresh, soft, and buttery. It’s many people’s love language, and this bread did not disappoint.
Next was the caesar salad. Fresh with crunchy homemade croutons was what caught my attention. It was tasty and a nice precursor before the main event.
The steak. I ordered a 10 oz filet mignon cooked medium. This was the highlight of the night. Tender and juicy with a great smokey flavor and a nice char. This is a steak one is proud to indulge in and like me, there will likely be none to take home.
Steak cut fries. I’m a sucker for good fries, and these hand-cut fries were delicious. I ate them and was excited after each bite. They were mouthwatering. Order the fries and thank me later.
Lastly I had the chocolate lava cake. Did I need it? No, but my waitress recommended it, and who am I to pass up a wonderful suggestion. It was quite a rich chocolate, but it paired nicely with the vanilla ice cream. Sweet and savory. It was the perfect closer.
T-Michaels Steak and Lobster is a charming experience with a well paced meal that is not overly stuffy.
