"This is a hi-end (I mean very expensive) steakhouse. The building and grounds are gorgeous, clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated for the holidays. The food and service is exemplary. We had a reservation and where seated immediately. Our meal started with raw oysters, they were fresh and sweet, came with little bottles of Tabasco, fresh lemon, and a delicious champagne vinegar condiment, I was surprised by the lack of horseradish (which is my preferred addition to oysters), but I enjoyed them nonetheless-the less. Next was the popular Caesar salad prepared masterfully table side, it was exquisite and an easy pick! I had the tomato cream soup with bit of crab meat, it was smooth and satisfying. The stars of the show were the steaks, my partner had the NY Strip, and was very happy with his choice. But really the highlight of the evening was my wagyu steak despite the outrageous price, it was melt in your mouth tender with a savory charred crust (close your eyes and softly moan). We had all tree steak sauces on the side and the were all good, but I found myself enjoying the stark without sauce most of the time. With all the fixings, I found the smoke on the bacon bits overwhelming. After this gastronomical splurge, we had no room for dessert, which I hear is exceptional, so I’ll happily plan another visit. The staff were attentive and professional, they took very good care of us."
