Reviews Summary

Wicked Tuna is praised for its incredible ocean views and fresh seafood, with many highlighting attentive service and creative sushi. However, some diners found the food to be overpriced for the flavor, and a few experienced issues with overcooked dishes or bland seasoning.

"Wicked Tuna was an amazing experience, and our server Madison was kind, attentive, and super helpful. The food was out of this world fresh & next time in town would definitely attend this spot again. Tried the grits, wicked tuna sushi, yumyum roll, she crab soup tdf, the most delicious shrimp, and the beets salad with whipped feta, arugula, shaved radish was plated beautifully. Thanks so much for this lovely evening. Desert was crazy sweet peanut butter chocolate cake + triple chocolate mousse tart!!"

Brandie Furniss

"An Unforgettable Night at The Wicked Tuna – Perfect for Our Girls’ Night Out!

We had the absolute best time at The Wicked Tuna in Myrtle Beach for our girls’ party of 8! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with stunning views right on the water — the perfect coastal vibe we were hoping for.

The service was top-notch! Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure our table of eight felt well taken care of all night. The cocktails were delicious (and strong!), and the seafood was fresh and flavorful — the sushi rolls, in particular, were a huge hit with everyone.

We couldn’t have picked a better spot for our girls’ night out. The music, the setting, and the energy of the place made it feel like a true celebration. If you’re in Myrtle Beach and looking for a fun, classy spot on the ocean to eat, drink, and make memories, The Wicked Tuna is a must.

We’ll definitely be back!"

Erica Jacobsen

"Wicked Tuna offers a great atmosphere with ocean views and live music that adds just the right touch. Service was prompt and attentive, and the food was thoughtfully prepared — both in presentation and flavor. The bang bang grouper, crab cake dinner, and the catch of the day piccata are definitely worth trying. (Sushi is great too!) Staff were accommodating, especially with young kids who need high chairs. The photographer was very respectful and courteous, and we purchased the photos to share with friends and family. Overall, a well-executed dining experience in a great setting. Will come back next time!"

No one will be surprised to learn that this " great restaurant with an amazing view of Murrells Inlet," as Campbell says, specializes in just about anything that comes out of the ocean. The elegant space is a choose-your-own-seafood adventure, with inventive, casual dishes like the Surf-and-Turf Burger (topped with a crab cake and remoulade), as well as more traditionally upscale plates like the filet-and-lobster-tail surf and turf and the crab-stuffed jumbo shrimp drizzled with a lemon-and-garlic cream sauce and set atop mushroom-and-pea risotto. So take it from those who live here: There is a lot to experience in Myrtle Beach—and if you're in the know, its food will have you planning your return visit before you even get home.

After our suuuuper sweaty kayak tour, we headed down the road just a bit to eat at Wicked Tuna. Murrells Inlet is the Seafood Capitol of South Carolina and has several great restaurants along boardwalk area called the Marshwalk, and Wicked Tuna was outstanding. When we got to the restaurant, we were lucky enough to head downstairs with the head chef to see their fishing boats pull in and the fisherman bring the fish off the boat and into the prepping station.

Some standout versions can be found at Wicked Tuna on Murrells Inlet, which infuses theirs with a dreamy mix of jumbo shrimp, creole cream sauce, andouille sausage, and cheese. Flying Fish in North Myrtle Beach adds a country ham cream sauce and cheese to the combo, while Buoys favors sautéed shrimp, andouille sausage, bacon, onions, and bell peppers served over slow-cooked, stone-ground yellow cheese grits.
