Reviews Summary
Cafe Old Vienna is celebrated for its authentic and generous portions of German and Austrian cuisine, creating a highly satisfying dining experience. The lively atmosphere, often enhanced by live accordion music, and the attentive, friendly staff are consistently praised. While the food and service receive rave reviews, some patrons note that dishes like the pork cordon bleu can be a tad dry.
"I am so glad we found this little gem! We were trying to figure out where to grab something to eat on our last evening of vacation and decided to walk here from our resort. Our server, Angeli, was very kind and knowledgeable. She was able to answer and question we had about the menu plus took the time to help us choose between a couple dishes we narrowed down but couldn’t decide from. Our beers were brought out quickly as was our appetizer. We weren’t given our appetizer then our main courses back to back, I hate that. We weren’t given our able to enjoy our appetizer at hen side salads then our main course. The food was probably the best german food I’ve personally had! We haven’t even left back to Georgia and I’m already wanting to come back and other meals from this place. I will say I feel terrible coming less than an hour prior to closing. I hate being those diners but the staff didn’t seem to mind and treated us very well. We even got a dessert to go, mainly since we’re both stuffed but my partner has a heck of a sweet tooth so we had to get something. I highly recommend giving this place a try, If you have half the pleasant experience and tasty foods we had, you’re in for a wonderful threat! Even the inside is decorated really cute. I hope to come here again next time we visit Myrtle beach."

"Fun place for authentic German Austrian food. They accommodated a large table for our group and our server was very capable and good at her job. I had the 4 sausage sampler which was very good. I particularly liked tge Veal sausage. My wife had pork Cordon blue and it was cheesy and delicious but she said "a little dry". I tried it and thought it was very good. The side veggies were very good and her salad was outstanding. I also tried the sweet pea soup and really enjoyed a dish you don't usually see at a restaurant. We went early at 4:30 but beware thus place fills up fast. Service was great will try again sometime."

"I can’t say I have ever been to a German restaurant before, it was a great concept.
The whole place has a whole theme about it even down to the waitress outfits to the man play the accordion on stage. I’d say we order way more food than needed. A order of cordon blue, which was chicken with a slice of pastrami I think and cheese on top, and a side of cranberry sauce, also came with spatzle, and fresh vegetables. I’d say u would have to season those items to your liking. I just put black pepper on it. potato pancakes with apple sauce, was tasty. The salad was fresh and crisp, also the sausage sampler was good, with the spicy sweet mustard. The waitress was on point as well, always checking to make sure if we needed anything, I’m sure she said she’s from the Philippines,"
