What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Terry's Restaurant + Lounge offers a charming dining experience with a unique dog-friendly policy and a delightful outdoor courtyard. Guests rave about the excellent food, particularly the sand dabs and chicken piccata, and the classic cocktails. While the ambiance and service are often praised, one review noted that the food has become mediocre and the inn could use a refresh.
"Terry’s at the Cypress Inn is everything you want in a brunch spot—delicious food, live jazz that sets the mood just right, and an ambiance that makes you want to linger. The jazz brunch is a must. Bonus points for being super dog-friendly (yes, there's a dog menu!) which makes the whole experience even more fun. It’s the kind of place you come back to every time you're in town."
Shannon Arner
"We drove down for the day to eat at Terry's since it's been awhile since we've eaten there. We sat outside for lunch, and the patio area is very relaxing. Our server, Rachel, was very good! We started with Bloody Mary's, and they were really good. The food was very good too! A chicken sandwich and chicken piccata. For dessert, we had the lemon serbeto.
I highly recommend this restaurant when in Carmel."

"We got the Monterey sand dabs and chicken piccata. Food was 10/10 and service was great too. I like how the menu was small which means everything is guaranteed to be fresh. Great place!"
