"If you're going to the coast, you've got to have seafood, right? Well, this place will check that box without breaking the bank and it's delicious and enjoyable besides.

The bright and airy seating area together with the big patio and fresh fish counter make this a very easy place to just pop in that appeals equally to tourists and locals. The atmosphere is unequivocally casual but clean and not at all cheap-feeling. The decorations are fun and quirky. There are numerous options for how to have your fish prepared and every one I tried was pretty good.

It can be tough to get something fresh from the water without spending half a week's paycheck but this restaurant has you covered. Delicious fish. I'll definitely be back."

"A great place with very fresh seafood. The oysters were fresh and large and delicious. The creamy seafood pasta was great although had a pretty basic taste - it had a lot of fresh seafood and it was all about the purity of the flavour. The bread coming with pasta was really delicious although I did not use it for pasta itself, not sure why they added it there. The Baja Tacos were fine but probably overpriced - the amount of fish was really good but the taste was pretty simple. Calamari and chips were fine but made in an interesting style, different from your average calamari and chips. The clam chowder was underwhelming. It had the clam flavour but the texture was just like starchy broth and nothing more - I regret ordering it. The portion sizes were large. I recommend coming to this place for the fresh seafood dishes although be mindful of your selection and don’t order too much"

"Came back on 9/5/25 and this time the fish and chips were just right!

As someone who’s visited this beautiful restaurant and market over the years, I’ve come to appreciate its consistency and local character—but this recent visit offered a mix of highs and a slight hiccup.

I ordered the classic fish and chips alongside prawn and chips. The fish came paired with a creamy, tangy tartar sauce that elevated the flavor, though the fillet itself leaned a bit dry this time around—missing that flaky, moist texture I’ve enjoyed in the past. On the flip side, the prawns were spot-on: plump, perfectly fried, and served with a zesty cocktail sauce that added just the right kick. The texture was excellent—crispy on the outside, tender within.

The market ambiance adds to the charm, with the scent of fresh catch and the bustle of locals picking up seafood to-go. It’s the kind of place that feels like a hidden gem, even if you’ve known about it for years.

While the fish didn’t quite hit the mark this time, the prawns more than made up for it. I’ll definitely be back—hopefully to find the fish back in top form."
