"Absolutely loved this cozy café with a beautiful flower-filled garden and peaceful atmosphere. It’s located in a historic building, which adds so much charm to the experience.
We had the coconut chickpea soup, mushroom quiche, a delicious dessert, and coffee — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served.
The staff was kind and welcoming, the vibe was lovely, and there’s some really cool art on the walls inside that adds to the character of the place. A perfect spot to relax, enjoy great food, and take in the surroundings. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!"

"Good selection of sandwiches and pastries and drinks. Yummy food and deserts. Spacious and beautiful outdoor seating.
Cons: no spoon and forks available. Even though I asked for them, they didn’t fill up the canisters and just gave me two.
watermelon drink was so sweet."

"LOVED !! Such a cute little bakery/coffee shop. Love the pink windows and doors. The line was out of the door when we got there which just shows how good it was ! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. And the food was amazing ! I got the mozzarella/tomato pastry (I don’t remember the name but view photo) so tasty!! I also got a ham and cheese with arugula sandwich, you had the option to get a seeded bun or non seeded. I got seeded and really enjoyed it !! To top it off, I got the honey and chamomile latte and it was the perfect balance of sweet and espresso tasting. They had a few tables inside for seating and then beautiful seeing outside. It was such a fun space."

u/Akireredragraen says "Breakfast/lunch at Alta bakery and cafe in downtown Monterey. They change their menu often, but everything I’ve had from there has been amazing. The pastries are great, the menu items are great, and the outdoor garden seating in the back might arguably be the prettiest spot to eat or hang out in all of downtown. The line can be pretty long, so if I’m feeling like getting pastries, I try to get there right at opening to make sure I get a croissant or donut before they sell out. The afternoons are typically slower, but they run out of most of their baked goods by then.
