With a dedicated allergy menu, this spot ensures diners can enjoy a worry-free meal while accommodating various dietary restrictions. I have newly been diagnosed with Celiac and had low expectations that I could successfully find gluten-free items I could safely eat. I was in Mobile, hungry, and the restaurant appealed to me, so I gave it a chance.

Moe’s Original BBQ has a dog-friendly patio that gives you a perfect view of the Mobile nightlife while you enjoy their best dishes. They serve excellent food, including finger food, salad, taters, Mini Moe’s, sides, and sandwiches. However, you cannot miss their famous BBQ dishes like smoked meat, pulled pork, rubs, and more seafood options.

Texas may be famous for its barbecue, but Alabamians have also been barbecuing since the 19th century. It all started when local farmers began slow cooking hog roasts over open firepits to bring communities together, and the love for pulled pork continues to this day. Moe’s Original BBQ is famous for their traditional pulled pork sandwich.

Good ol’ Southern food: Mobile is in the Deep South, let’s not forget, and it has the cuisine to match. Get your fix at Ruby Slipper, a staple in the city’s dining menu, with all-day brunch offerings like barbecue shrimp and grits, fried chicken Benedict and bacon praline pancakes. Oh, and did someone say authentic Southern barbecue?.

Moe’s Original touts its cuisine as a “Southern soul food revival” — and that description is spot on!. Located on Dauphin near midtown Mobile’s Mardi Gras parade route, the 7,400-square-foot building features premium bars, HDTVs, and a live music venue. As far as the food goes, it’s amazing!

Moe’s Original BBQ is one of Mobile’s top spots for over 30 years. Three local Alabamians who were dedicated to Southern BBQ founded the original Moe’s and locations have popped up over the entire state since. The atmosphere is an energetic sports bar and the food is premium southern BBQ.
