What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Blu Pig is a beloved BBQ joint in Moab, praised for its authentic Southern-style slow-smoked meats like ribs and brisket. Diners rave about the live blues music adding to the fun atmosphere and unique cocktails. While many find the food delicious and the service friendly, a few reviewers noted issues with portion sizes and dryness of certain meats, with one also mentioning less-than-ideal dining ware.
"Blu Pig Bar B Que I scrumptious. This is the best Bar B Que that I've had in this area. The food was fresh and not over cooked. We got our little piggy bellies full after a day of hiking Canyonlands. Next time I hope to go when a blues band is playing."

"I'm sorry we didn't get to see the live music, but a lunch was just what we needed. Their tangy and peppered barbecue sauces were fantastic, and the meat was done right. Only reason it was four stars was that I wanted more! One of our party had the smoked pecan pie and said it was quite an experience! Didn't get a picture of the food because it was gone too quickly!"
Gabriel Perry
"Hush puppies were very good and fresh. The potatoes salad was great. Baked beans were the whole tables favorite, perfectly seasoned and not to sweet. The pulled pork was a must have and the baby back ribs were absolutely perfect. Literally couldn't pick it up because the bones just fell out. We finished off with Apple cobbler and it was a perfect fit. If you come to Moab and try this place, you wasted a trip."

Vegan in Moab
While I never ate there, the Blu Pig has a commitment to vegan stuff, as proclaimed by my enthusiastic server one night when I met some friends for a drink.
