"Milt's Stop n' Eat is a hidden gem that every burger enthusiast must try. Nestled in a cozy corner, this charming diner offers an irresistible menu focused on one thing: fantastic burgers. As soon as you step inside, the inviting ambiance and friendly staff make you feel right at home.

What truly sets Milt’s apart is its commitment to quality. Each burger is meticulously crafted using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The moment you take your first bite, you can taste the difference. The signature Milt’s Burger is a standout, featuring a perfectly grilled patty that’s juicy and packed with flavor. Topped with crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and their house-made sauce, it strikes the perfect balance of textures and flavors.

The customization options are impressive, allowing patrons to create their own masterpiece. Whether you prefer classic toppings like cheese and bacon or want to experiment with jalapeños and avocado, the choices are endless. Don’t forget to pair your burger with their crispy fries or onion rings—they're the perfect sidekick!

The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for families, friends, or a quick solo meal. With reasonable prices and generous portions, Milt's Stop n' Eat guarantees you’ll leave satisfied. If you're on the hunt for delicious burgers that hit all the right notes, this place should be at the top of your list. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!"

"Awesome place to eat some delicious food. The Albuquerque Chicken BLT sandwich is excellent with the roasted green chili and chipotle sauce, and their unique cut, real potato fries go great with it. The vegetarian burger is so well done and we loved the pesto cheese fries too. They have a nice outdoor eating area that's in the shade. Definitely a must when you are in Moab!!"

Meghan Garcia

"Well worth stopping and eating like the name suggests. Had a cheeseburger, and a Yak burger. Fries, and tater tots, and a cookies and cream shake. The shakes were served promptly and delicious. They didn’t wait to serve them with the food, which was great. Everything was made to order, hot and fresh. I would return."

Although it would not normally be a celebration dinner destination, I was happy to try the burgers and shakes at Milt’s Stop and Eat after beers at the brewery. To provide an idea of Milt’s ambiance, orders are placed at an exterior walk-up window and then you wait at an outdoor picnic table for your name to be yelled when your food is ready. I had the Andes mint milkshake and a Hatch Green Chile cheeseburger.

Unmissable Places to Eat

Milt’s Stop & Eat is Moab’s oldest restaurant, as it opened during Moab’s uranium boom in the 1950s. Like Moab Diner, this restaurant’s aesthetics haven’t strayed too far from the original with its cute retro style. While the style has remained the same, the menu is updated and includes a few vegetarian options (quite the rarity when it comes to Moab).
