What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Martina is consistently praised for its exceptional food, creative craft cocktails, and inviting atmosphere, making it a top choice for dates and special occasions. While most diners rave about the unique flavors and perfect execution of dishes like the potato churros and brunch specials, a few minor critiques include overly sweet cocktails and occasional issues with steak quality.
"Martina was definitely a great experience for a date night 🌙
My wife and I went out for our first date since the birth of our first son. I had Googled a bunch of random nicer restaurants in the metro area and based off reviews this place landed on my radar. Overall experience was a 9.7 out of 10.
The ambiance was very nice, very clean and modern. I personally enjoyed the staff uniforms as it helped make it seem a bit more relaxed but still professional vibe. I didn't take more photos of the place as I don't believe in taking pictures of random people without consent.
The service was pretty good, shoutout to Peter for being a nice inviting server. The food all came out at a reasonable time throughout our appetizers and entrees.
The food quality itself is definitely top notch compared to a lot of restaurants I have dined in. As far as value of the meal to what we ate is where I doc them some points, but not much as the tastes were very flavorful and thought provoking in a good way. 😍
If you're in the Lake Harriet area or have never been to this park of the metro you will have to give this place a try.
Parking on the other hand is horrendous, good luck, but that isn't something I rate a restaurant for as that isn't their fault.
We will definitely be back again!"

"Server gave us time to talk and catch up with table guests without feeling rushed or pressured. The halibut, scallops and empanadas were divine. But the chicken was unbelievably good. Like, I’d never order chicken because it’s usually bland and not memorable, but the flavors danced on my palate long after the bite was savored. Highly recommend. My only pushback was too much ice in the cocktail and the old fashioned was too sweet to be enjoyable. Overall, a fab dining experience."

Minneapolis' Best Restaurants
The restaurant that started it all for the prolific and decorated Daniel Del Prado, Martina is a case study for how to make a fine dining restaurant that doesn’t feel fussy, with a vibey dining room that somehow caters to both the romantic date night and seen-and-be-seen crowd. But it’s not all style; Del Prado’s Italian-slash-Argentinian menu is full of crowd-pleasing but sophisticated dishes like spaghetti fra diavolo with lobster and a half-chicken served with vadouvan veloute and agrodolce.
