The Hen House Eatery was a solid 7.75 due to being on the pricier side, and the wait time. Lots of food options though with some vegan menu items. Have you been to the hen house eatery?! #foodtiktok #foodietiktok #minneapolis

Reviews Summary

Hen House Eatery is highly praised for its delicious, locally sourced food, generous portions, and friendly, efficient service. Diners love the all-day breakfast menu, especially the enormous cinnamon rolls and specialty cocktails. While generally well-received, some note that it can be pricey and wait times can be long during peak hours.

"I had a fantastic experience at Hen House today! The service was absolutely excellent—friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The ambience is top-notch, And the food? Simply incredible! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite tasted homemade and full of love. I genuinely loved the place and can’t wait to come back."

"Great food, team style service, great energy, and both table/booth seating as well as counter seats, choose "first available" for speediest seating option! I had the banana bread French toast, and there was no way I could eat it all, delicious though it was, great taste and nicely presented. Enjoyed my vanilla chai tea latte as well!! Wanted to make it back for lunch one day, but didn't happen during our vacation... would have loved to try their pulled pork Mac n cheese!! Busy place, worth the wait!"

Loraine Bailor

"Went here for breakfast. The food is got was really good and unique to me. I got the banana bread french toast which come with 4 slices of French toast, banana slices, some whip cream on the side, and hot syrup. The French toast was not overall sweet but with the clusters or syrup it maybe really sweet. The banana and whip does help mellow out the sweetness. The turtle cold brew was alright. It just taste like cold brew with chocolate syrup if u drink from the bottom since all the syrup just drips to the bottom. I did take a bite of the hog heaven bk sandwhich and it was good. It was soft and flaky but tasted better with the honey mustard sauce that comes with. Try the mimosa if you love to drink in the A.M."

My first order of the day Friday was to check out the highly recommended breakfast/brunch joint, The Hen House. I ended up sitting at the bar, and realized after I sat down that two Pittsburgh Pirates players, Andrew McCutchen and Colin Holderman, were sitting on my left. That was kinda cool, and I did my best to play it cool.
