What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kooky Canuck offers a unique Canadian-American dining experience with hearty portions and a lively atmosphere. While many praise the poutine, burgers, and comfort food, some reviews mention inconsistent food quality and service issues.
"Love, love, love this place! And we loved our waitress, Sibil❤️! Get the appetizer trio, the catfish poboy, wings, or anything pictured in this review! Amazing brunch spot💕! Portions were great and we cleaned our plates😂. No long line, seated immediately, and Sibil was willing to take an extra table just so we could sit by the window. I am in awe🥰! Thank you, Sibil and staff❤️!"

"Service was exceptional and the atmosphere was very nice!!! While my intention was to get an entree, we got the fried green tomatoes, wings and bbq egg rolls (which were so good)! Three stars for rating of food as one of my chicken wings was not cooked all the way and it could use a bit more seasoning. (I typically get wings fried hard, so that’s my fault.)
We got the Maple Brown Butter Old Fashioned (which was a bit too sweet and needed a bit more bitters added) and the Maid of the Mist (which is filled with strawberry’s and blueberries). Dessert was the Maple Bread Pudding, which my husband said was awesome! I would definitely visit again!"

"Great poutine. Hand cut fries are excellent. Prime rib and potato soup had really good flavor but some chewy pieces in the meat. It was comfortable and casual and service was friendly."
