Russ Graham and Tom Powers, the duo behind Downtown's Flight Restaurant & Bar and Germantown's Southern Social, plan to open the much-anticipated Porch & Parlor restaurant this fall in Overton Square. The restaurant will take over the space formerly held by Bar Louie, at 2125 Madison Ave. at the corner of Madison and South Cooper Street.

In downtown, my favorites are Catherine & Mary’s, Flight Restaurant, or The Gray Canary. In midtown, I like Restaurant Iris, Cafe 1912, or Bounty on Broad. If you’re close to East Memphis, check out Folk's Folly or Hog & Hominy (temporarily closed for reconstruction, but everyone is anxiously awaiting its re-opening).

This wonderful coffee shop, cafe, and bar offers breakfast and lunch dishes, coffee, tea, beer, and many other delicious drinks. They truly have something for everyone.
