At the end of the malibu pier you’ll find a hidden gem, 📍Malibu Farm Cafe. They serve breakfast all day which was perfect on this cloudy day. We ordered the swedish pancakes which were light and fluffy as well as the lox avocado toast. It came with a super generous ammount of lox, avocado, ricotta cheese, heirloom tomatoes and beets on top. The matcha lattes were also delicious and i’d recommend a...

Reviews Summary

Malibu Farm Pier Cafe is celebrated for its stunning ocean views and fresh, healthy cuisine. Diners rave about the vibrant atmosphere and delicious farm-to-table options. However, some patrons have noted inconsistencies in service and food quality, with occasional issues like cold coffee or subpar steak.

"Malibu Farms

This is one of the most SOLID 5-star reviews I’ll ever write.

- Pier Location with Ocean view
- Clean, classy, odorless fresh air
- Good seating with views throughout
- Attentive & helpful staff
- Plenty of enticing menu options
- Great food with HIGH QUALITY INGREDIENTS *

Most impressive:

- our server Carson was eager to serve, caring, thoughtful and attentive
- Any server that remembers you saying you will want something after eating (I.e. coffee; beer)—BEFORE you eat—and then later asks you if you are still interested in it after you eat, is a server that is definitely 100% paying attention to what they are doing. They are fully present and committed to offering the best possible service.
- I’m looking forward to returning and bringing others with me"

Johan Montoya

"For tourists or locals a great place to spend time. Attentive service, fantastic food and the best views anywhere. I went on a Monday at about 11a and it was no wait even with a large party of 9. I imagine the weekends to be quite backed when the weather is good. Street parking or paid parking."

Michael Lau

"Food is soooo good! Came from Texas for my birthday and definitely worth checking out! Options are endless and the view is chef’s KISS! 🤌🏽 You gotta try their most popular Swedish pancakes!! & their smoothies were delicious 🤤"

What to Do in Malibu

Since the iconic Alice’s Restaurant on the Malibu Pier reopened under new management as Malibu Farm Restaurant in 2015, with Helene Henderson’s breezy elevated surfer menu, it seems that everything along the cove between the pier and Carbon Canyon has upped its game. The chic coastal outpost of Soho House opened, and then something miraculous happened: Malibu Beach Inn, once a ho-hum motel-style property with nothing but views, was transformed by visionary veteran hotelier Gregory Day, whom the Mani Brothers smartly lured from Shutters on the Beach, into just the kind of quietly luxurious ocean hideaway every Angeleno dreams about. The 47 rooms with private terraces that cantilever over this gentle cove master that elusive Scando art of the cozy, or hygge: They are minimal yet warm, with strong Danish Modern–meets–California beach design references, and upscale in that plush-bedding, Toto-toilets sort of way.
