"Food was amazing!!! My husband is vegan so it's often hard to find a place where he is excited about the food but this place exceeded our expectations. Our server was really nice and had a great recommendation for me. I had the jerk chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and it was great! My husband had the curried chickpea delight and he (and I) loved it as well!"

"On a Thursday afternoon, my wife and I dined at Taste of Di Island Eatery. On this particular day Island Eatery was not busy. The food was delicious, we went with their lunch specials. Atmosphere of the establishment is bright and tropical.
I ordered the Jerk Chicken w/ rice & beans; my wife ordered the Fried Chicken w/ white rice. Jerk chicken was flavorful and my wife liked the somewhat sweet sauce on the fried chicken.
Taste of Di Island Eatery serves delightfully tasty dishes, at least, 2 I can vouch for. We would dine at this establishment again."

"Lunch special is a steal. Flavors are great. Best place to eat in Mackinac, hands down.
Pictured is chicken curry lunch and jerked chicken lunch. Recommend the rice and peas on the side. I got the ground provisions. Which I don’t think many will appreciate but I loved them for dipping the extra sauce.
Side note to owners. Would love if we could buy a side of the slaw and or the fried banana. Those are worth the extra purchase!"

One of the last things I expected in this touristy town would be fantastic Jamaican food. What an amazing surprise which we have determined to be one of our favorite meals during our trip up North. We carried out and ate at a picnic table since we had our dog with us, but the 2 women working were amazingly helpful and kind.
