"Everything was great! Server was a bit slow but the manager kept coming around & picking up her slack. Crawdad/shrimp etouffee, clam chowder, & bread pudding were all delicious. Beware the bread pudding is GINORMOUS and could probably serve a full table of people (at least 6 comfortably)."

The gumbo is good, very flavorful. The hash brown casserole is also tasty.
The bloody Mary and mimosa are reasonably priced. Portion of the creole omelet is huge. Overall we had a great time here. Would highly recommend it."

"I have a confession… I’ve lived in Anchorage and Middletown most of my life and have never been in. Today was the day! My 10:30 reservation afforded great weather for outside seating AND the privilege of the train going by! The outside seating area is almost as large as inside. The hostess, servers and wait staff were very attentive. My server knew the menu and answered questions well. The inside… since 1979 is a vibe-the bar and sitting area. The menu is not extensive but they do what they do well and the presentation is very good! This is a staple in Anchorage that you don’t want to miss! Go and enjoy🫶🏻"
