BCD is a trusted Korean restaurant chain that serves two of the most popular Korean dishes - soondubu (tofu stew) and KBBQ!  There are probably even better tofu & bbq spots in LA (especially in Koreatown), but BCD is a super solid place if you're ever craving soondubu and KBBQ! They have several locations in LA, and having been to 3 different spots, I'd say the one on Wilshire Blvd is probably the...

Reviews Summary

BCD Tofu House is a beloved Korean restaurant chain known for its authentic flavors and generous portions. Diners rave about the signature soondubu, customizable spice levels, and the abundant banchan. While the food consistently receives high marks, some patrons have noted that service can be perfunctory, especially during busy times. Despite this, the value and quality make it a popular destination.

"This place hardly needs a review—it’s already a well-known spot. But I’m writing one anyway because I’ve been coming here every time I visit LA, and that started about eight years ago. Most popular restaurants tend to lose their original flavor over time, but this place is a rare exception. The 순두부찌개 (spicy soft tofu stew) still tastes exactly like it did on my first visit. There are BCD branches in Korea, but none come close to the flavor of this original location. If you’re in LA, this is truly a must-visit. LA 갈비 is also a must-have!"

J Park

"Impeccable food at a ridiculous value for being in Downtown. I’ve been going here since 2008 and it has never disappointed no matter the hour of day. Service has always been fantastic whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner and late nite.

Parking lot is safe and large. My best friend came down from Seattle and this was our first food stop."

Tay Bui

"If you like Tofu and spicy Korean dishes.....then this is the place you want to check out! It's open 24 hours and lots of parking & very busy all the time. We recommend the combo dish with LA ribs!"

The Best Late Night Food in Los Angeles Neighborhoods

There are myriad late-night options in K-town, but Korean tofu stew (yes, they add meat to it too) is exactly what a blurry body needs. Don’t be adverse to the idea of tofu as a main course; it’s thick, soft, and burrata-like in its texture. The restaurant also loads you up with all the delicious banchan you want, too; Koreans know that kimchi definitely helps with the morning after.
