What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
So Restaurant Bar offers a refined dining experience with expertly crafted seafood and meat dishes and an acclaimed wine list. Diners often praise the cozy ambiance and delectable desserts. However, some reviews mention inconsistent service and unexpected charges, suggesting potential for a less than perfect experience.
"Great place for a girls night.
Amazing happy hour,
Cocktails made with local spirits and select appetizers!!!!!
Dinner was amazing with huge crab cakes.
The cheese cake, cinnamon toast crunch creme brulee is my favorite and a delectable chocolate cake was shared between us.
I couldn't stop eating it was so good. I was so full."

"We chose to celebrate Valentine’s Day at SO. Food wasn’t the problem. There was no cocktail/wine menu so you go in blind to the cost of each drink. My complaint isn’t about the food, it’s about the extra $110 charges after my subtotal in taxes. We had a party of 4 and were charged a 20% “large party” fee. Which was more than 20% of my subtotal. I understand normal state and local tax and alcohol tax, but 3 of them?? Never heard of an advertising and promotion tax, but got charged for that too. They also charge you 3% credit card surcharge. I am sharing my receipt so you can see these extra fees and be prepared where we were not. Disappointed to say the least and can’t justify the food for the price."

"Went in last night with my wife for the first time ever & was utterly surprised by the atmosphere, service & food. Our waiter was Mike & he gave us arguably the best service EVER. We are pretty finicky about where we eat but let me tell you this, if you want an incredible refreshing dining experience then SO Restaurant is your next "must see tv" wish i could give 10 stars!! GREAT JOB TEAM"
