What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Red Door is lauded for its delicious Southern fare and exceptional customer service, making it a popular spot for brunch and dinner. While the food receives consistent praise, some reviewers noted that breakfast potatoes were subpar. The lively atmosphere and attentive staff contribute to a highly recommended dining experience.
"Every time I have been here, it has been absolutely wonderful. The food is amazing, as are the mimosas. I brought my sister here for brunch on her 21st birthday & the waiter gave her a cake!! The staff is always so kind whenever I have visited."
Amaya Mendoza
"We popped on a weekday around lunchish. Both of us wanted brunch food, so we ordered: a plate of biscuits and gravy with two eggs over easy, the eggs benedict florentine, and two pineapple mimosas. The breakfast potatoes tasted like little frozen nuggets of sadness. That is seriously my only complaint with the food. My eggs were perfectly poached, and although I was wary of the hollandaise appearing thin... the flavor was delicious! My husband really enjoyed his food, too. Oh, and I remembered pictures. Our total was around 60.00."
Angela Grimes
"We decided to give dinner a shot since we usually do weekend brunch here. The dinner menu had a wide variety of food, but we each decided on the burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was big and had a good taste to it. I liked this burger better than one from David's Burgers because this was less greasy. I'd come back to try something else for dinner."

Abernathy has a good time with items like the Really Great Cheese Burger (double meat, double cheese, with options to add applewood bacon, chili or a fried egg), the Red Door Outrage (grilled Angus tenderloin medallions, applewood bacon topped with fries, jalapeno Jack cheese, fried egg, lettuce, tomato and homemade aioli) and other cleverly named items. Abernathy’s flare is also apparent with chicken fried prime rib in a small or large version. I recently sampled the small portion with a side of the signature mac ‘n’ cheese and was left stuffed.

Not only did I have the pleasure of eating my favorite Sunday Brunch of Eggs Benedict and mimosas at Red Door, a Little Rock institution, but I also had the privilege to do so with the award winning owner/chef Mark Abernathy himself, plus a side of cheese dip.
