Reviews Summary

SUSHISAMBA Las Vegas is lauded for its visually stunning atmosphere and the creative fusion of Japanese, Peruvian, and Brazilian cuisines. Diners consistently praise the fresh sushi, attentive service, and unique cocktails. While the food and ambiance are highly rated, some guests found the prices typical for Las Vegas and noted occasional inconsistencies with dress code enforcement.

"I went to Sushisamba at the Palazzo and ate at the bar. The restaurant did not disappoint. The food is a little pricey like most places in Vegas, but it was worth it. The food was delicious with amazing taste and flavor. I tried a little of everything and I enjoyed all the entrees I ordered. The gyoza and sushi were my favorites. The service was awesome, the staff is very attentive and gave excellent customer service. The restaurant has a great ambience and well decorated. I found out they have a happy hour from 3-6 pm, which I would definitely recommend. If you are staying in Las Vegas and want to try a great sushi restaurant check out Sushisamba."

"Went to the bar for food and drinks.
I think I just found my fave bar in Vegas!
Excellent food, drinks, and service.
Susie and the bar gang were attentive and welcoming. DJ playing for the evening.
Visited the spot twice during our short visit.
Definitely coming back!"

Valerie Marquez

"We had such an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food and drinks were top notch, and we were especially impressed with the wonderful vegan options—something you don’t always find at sushi places. The prices were also completely affordable, especially for a Las Vegas sushi spot, which made the experience even better.

What truly made our night unforgettable, though, was our bartender, Liz. She was not only friendly and attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Every drink she crafted was perfect, and she went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of. Liz’s energy and professionalism really elevated the whole evening. We’ll definitely be back again soon—thank you for such a wonderful time!"

SushiSamaba is a bit of a tourist magnet, but never disappoints fans of ambitious sushi combinations. The restaurant's name reflects a unique mix of Japanese and South American cuisine and culture, which is a concept based on a history of Japanese immigration to Brazil and Peru. So try the ceviche with potato and corn alongside yellowtail taquitos and a cut of Wagyu served with black beans, collard greens, and dipping sauces.

The Best Restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip

By enthusiastically embracing the flavors and the energy of Brazil and Peru alongside those of Japan, SushiSamba offers something more exciting and original than most of the Strip’s upscale sushi spots. Rest assured, however, the nigiri and sashimi are top notch: beautiful fish, expertly prepared, but presented with a wow factor that might make a traditional Japanese chef blush. Churrasco (Brazilian barbecue), taquitos, tiradito and a Brazilian seafood stew known as moqueca round out the menu with South American flavors and flair.
