You might have high expectations for the spin-off of Chicago steakhouse institution Bavette’s. Thankfully, this edition also serves great food and feels right at home in Vegas, with Tiffany-style table lamps, abstract art, and mismatched furniture making the space cooler than most of the other steakhouses in the city. Get the Lillet Rosé martini and the cheeseburger, which is in fact the famed Au Cheval burger from Bavette’s sister restaurant without the line of 300 people outside waiting to try it.

For a fantastic steak, head to this steakhouse located in Park MGM. Expect a dark, moody restaurant with dim-lite corners, creating an eerie but romantic vibe for couples. The many has a great selection on it and we would recommend the Seafood Tower for a real treat. The Prime Beef French Dip is one of the best things I have ever tried and their filet mignon is cooked to perfection.

We’ve heard good things from Bavette’s Steakhouse from friends and from locals in Vegas so we finally tried it and were thoroughly impressed. Bavette’s Steakhouse is a cornerstone of Chicago (a city we also LOVE) which opened in 2012, and this Vegas location’s opening being around 2018. We’ve actually dined at this Vegas location multiple times as of summer 2025.

When Park MGM reopened after its refurbishments, this restaurant was one of the first food spaces to open its doors. This isn’t like the other steakhouses you’ll find in the country. It has an elegant French feel without making it formal.
