Built in the 1960s at the Napili Kai Beach Resort, before there were laws forbidding construction so close to the beach, this restaurant is literally footsteps from gorgeous Napili Bay. Wear your beach wrap to breakfast and enjoy the signature oven-baked pancakes or the beautifully delicious Molokai sweet potato egg frittata; the menu also offers fish from Hawaiian waters and fresh local produce.

Snorkel in the morning, grab lunch at the Sea House, try stand up paddle surfing, then sip cocktails at Merriman’s next door. Or simply sit on the sand and gaze across the channel at Molokaʻi. While lunch and dinner are equally as good, Sea House didn’t win the Maui Award for Best Happy Hour for nothing. Served from 2:00 to 4:45 pm, you can nibble on delicious apps like poke nachos or coconut shrimp, alongside a Mai Tai with views of the sparkling sea.

One of the most well-positioned restaurants in all of Maui, Sea House goes above and beyond as far as oceanside dining is concerned. Overlooking the turquoise waters of Napili Bay, grab a seat on the lanai or bar top to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Happy Hour is daily from 2 to 5 pm and includes deals on Specialty Cocktails and Pupus like the Poke Nachos, Calamari Tacos, and more.

Eventually, you'll see a large sign for the Sea House Restaurant on the left side of the road. Keep driving a bit further, and you'll pass a long stone and wood fence reading "Napili Kai Beach Resort." Just past that will be a turnoff with a sign for the Kapalua Coastal Trail and a mention of beach parking. On the right side of Lower Honoapiilani Road is a blue beach access sign.

The Sea House, located right on the beach at Napili Bay, is one of our top spots for a relaxing breakfast on Maui. This beachfront gem offers unbeatable views and a peaceful setting, making it an ideal place to start your day. Among the menu highlights are the Molokai sweet potato frittata and the fresh-made Moloka‘i sweet bread French toast—both are absolute must-tries.

**Note: If on Maui, DO NOT miss this spot for Happy Hour (or for the Mai Tai). My opinion is that this is the 2-5pm happy hour is BEST on the island, with 1/2 off all cocktails under $20, all beer and wines by the glass, amazing live music to boot and the BLT Bruschetta was delectable. After happy hour stroll upstairs to the rooftop for the traditional sunset ceremony.

In my opinion, Napili Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, and the Sea House directly overlooks it. The cocktail menu leaves something to be desired – and from experience, do not order a Mexican Martini – but besides that, the view is killer and the food is good. Go for a lunch cocktail or three and take a dip in the ocean afterwards.

This old school brunch spot located at Napili Beach has gorgeous ocean views, which (for some reason) lowered my expectations of the food. But I was pleasantly surprised that they had a gluten-free menu with lots of tempting choices. I ordered the sweet potato egg frittata topped with spiced hollandaise sauce, and I have to admit: it was pretty epic.

This restaurant at the Napili Kai Beach Resort sits on a bluff overlooking the crescent-shaped Napili Bay. The Sea House features Pacific Rim cuisine accompanied by spectacular sunsets at very reasonable prices. We had lunch here a few times, under the swaying palm trees, just steps away from the aquamarine waters of the Pacific.

Ambrosia Martini Lounge is open seven days a week and has one of the latest happy hours on the island from 7pm to 9pm and all night on Saturdays. Every night, Ambrosia has DJs, live music, game nights, and much more to keep people busy. The space is small, which makes it easier for people to talk to each other.

Sea House at the Napili Kai Resort is helmed by renowned chef Alex Stainslaw. Graduating with honors at the Culinary Institute of America in New York, Stainslaw’s stomping grounds were at the Kapalua Bay Hotel. He honed his craft at Seafood Grotto, followed by a lengthy stint at the Plantation House.

The Gazebo gets all of the glory on the West Side, but I’m partial to the Sea House. Just on the other side of Napili Bay, the Sea House actually has a better view (you can see the entire beach from the restaurant) and it’s usually much easier to walk in. Don’t miss the Haleakala Pancake!

Located on Napili Bay, the Sea House Restaurant is a great restaurant in Maui with a view!. It’s a multi-winner for Maui Magazine’s Aipono Awards for Best Happy Hour and it was voted best breakfast on the island. In fact, the restaurant’s beachfront location is truly a gem.

Enjoyed breakfast a couple of times at the Sea House in Napili. Attempted to get breakfast at the highly-recommended Gazebo but the line was 25 deep at 8am and 10am. The last thing I will do is wait in line, particularly when I'm on vacation.
