"This was my daughter's birthday restaurant choice while we were on Maui. Not an easy place to get a table at, but definitely worth it. The restaurant is small and has its own quirky yet charming vibe. The server was great. You bring your own alcohol. The sushi rolls we had were amazing. I had the Miso Phat roll and my daughter got the Miso Horny. Think my wife had a Philly roll. They were all delicious. Definitely worth a stop if you like great sushi and are in the area"

"Wow—this place truly lives up to the hype!

We waited about 50 minutes with no reservations, and after hearing multiple people recommend this spot, we were hoping it would be worth it—and it absolutely was. Be sure to walk in and put your name on the waitlist; they’ll text you with your place in line. Bonus: it’s BYOB, and there’s a bar just a few stores down where you can hang out while you wait. They also have a cozy waiting area if you’d rather stay close.

Once seated, everything was ready—water already at the table, and service was quick and friendly. We ordered the miso soup, TNT roll, miso bomb, miso crunchy roll, tempura roll, and two appetizers—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can watch the chefs make sushi right in front of you, and the attention to detail is amazing.

Highly recommend. Even with the wait, the food and experience made it totally worth it. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit."
