"Okay, first of all... wow.

The ambiance is incredible. It's eclectic and wild but relaxing all at the same time. You can tell that the owner has put his heart and soul into Java Jazz. Now let's talk about the service! Can I just say I love the owner!? He spotted me and saw i was hot! Like hot flash hot! He quickly came over and said "Come with me, I have just the spot for you" and took my husband and I to the perfect spot where the AC blew directly on my face! It was heavenly! He was so kind and worked so hard. No one else was taking orders or serving or cashing out his patrons, just him and all his glory. He was and is wonderful❤️ Now let's talk the food, specifically the fluffy delicious pancake! It's huge, it melts in your mouth! Mmmm! Everything else was good too, fresh and flavorful in perfect portions.

Hands down I recommend Java Jazz for breakfast. And if lunch, dinner and the nightlife are anything like the experience I just had, I'd say this is the perfect spot!

"ATMOSPHERE:
Don't let its location in the Honokowai Marketplace strip mall fool you because the inside is super cool! It's a mix of Rocky Horror, graffiti, cantina, coffee shop, bar and WTF. I loved it! Be sure to check out the bar top lined with pennies. A singer entertained us with Hootie tunes while we dined.

MENU:
Breakfast, coffee bar, bar-style apps, soups, sandwiches, salads, pastas, seafood, poultry, meats, Mexican fare, desserts, kids menu, happy hour.

FOOD:
Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp
I read on their website that they're known for their pastas so I was sold as I love pasta. Very few places make a tasty alfredo sauce, but here they do! Creamy with lots of savory flavor. The six or so peeled shrimp were plump and crunchy. Highly recommended!

SERVICE:
We were seated immediately as a host was standing in the doorway ready for patrons. Our female server was friendly, very attentive and checked on us often.

OVERALL:
Happy & fun ambiance, good service, fair pricing, tasty food. A new west Maui favorite!"

"We were on the Hawaiian Islands for three weeks. Everything was great. – Only the food was mostly disappointing. But then: On Maui – thanks to Google – we discovered this restaurant shortly before the end of our trip. Inconspicuous in a row of shops, but what an extraordinary interior design; and live music in the evenings. And above all: finally excellent food! We were there three times. Our favourite: The Tenderloin/ Filet Mignon with Mushed potatoes. Wonderful meat, excellently prepared and finally a side dish beyond fries or chips. Also fish, vegetarian dishes were excellent! Enough free seats, super friendly staff. We could hardly believe it! Forget crowded, mediocre, expensive resort restaurants or the takeaways in the park next door. Don't miss out on this restaurant!"
