@Wild Love Bakehouse in Knoxville is a local favorite and it is easy to see why. The vibe is cozy, the service is kind, and the coffee is smooth. We gave both drinks a B minus but the atmosphere alone makes it worth the visit. #fyp #knoxville #foodie #foodreview #foodtiktok

Wild Love Bakehouse is lauded for its exceptional pastries, especially the almond croissants and unique savory options like the prosciutto and Gruyère croissant. Diners praise the cozy atmosphere, natural light, and friendly service, making it a popular spot for both treats and coffee. Some reviews mention that prices can be on the higher side, and there have been occasional issues with inconsistent operating hours.

"A delightful little bakery and coffee shop in north Knoxville.
The interior is well an open space with friendly staff and the aroma of fresh baked pastries. The space lit with large windows, with plenty of indoor seating for quiet working or catching up with friends.
The almond pastries are out of this world amazing ! Thank me later.
Plenty of accessible parking."

"Wild Love Bakery is absolutely delightful! I got a green tea oat milk matcha latte, which might have been the best I’ve ever had—so creamy and flavorful. I also tried one of their chocolate chip cookies, which was layered and delicious: crispy on the edges, soft in the middle, and so yummy. The granola looks incredible, the croissants are gorgeous, and I love all the merchandise they have, especially the cute farmers market bags. Everything feels fresh and thoughtfully made.

The customer service is excellent as well—so friendly and sweet, with young people who clearly love working there and are happy to answer any questions. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience"

"This place is an absolute gem! If everyone knew about this place, Starbucks may go out of business. The inside is classy and comfortable but then you look over where the coffee is made on the shelves and you see counter culture coffee in large bags, just knowing they use organic quality, coffee is enough for me to keep coming back, but then I bit into the delectable and buttery chocolate croissant, and it was delicious and they did not skimp on the chocolate! The coffee was fantastic. I think this might be my new place for coffee and baked goods."

Things to Do in Knoxville

A hipster bakery with croissants that are beyond compare. Why go?. A really basic formula—local flour, eggs and butter—results in baked goods that are worth driving across town (or across the state). The croissant dough is flaky, the biscuits perfect for a morning egg sandwich, and the flatbreads make for a great lunch.

This cozy coffee shop often draws a crowd because of its delicious pastries made in-house. What goes better with a warm coffee than an Almond Croissant?. Some of their other popular items are their Morning Bun—classic croissant dough rolled and tossed in sugar and warm spices—and their Blueberry Raspberry Hand Tart—crispy flaky pie dough filled with fresh blueberries and raspberry preserves, essentially their take on a Poptart.

I’m always surprised by how few people have been to Wild Love. It is hands down my favorite café, playing the best coffeehouse tunes, has the greatest coffee and the tastiest peanut butter oat bar in the world. I have literally tried to replicate the recipe myself using gluten-free flour, oats, chocolate, peanuts, peanut butter and sea salt sprinkled on top.

Wild Love Bakehouse is by far my favorite of any of the cafes on this list and for good reason. While their Matcha Latte is absolutely heavenly all the credit must go to their Prosciutto and Gruyere croissant. You can often see their employees in the back, hand making most of their food with the ingredients grown in their parking lot.
