"We had a date dinner at the place. This si supposedly the best Japanese inspired restaurant on the island. Staff was attentive and friendly but started the dinner to literally pour a BOWL of soya sauce in front of us. I have never seen being served a bowl od soya sauce in sushi restaurant. The waitress explained that " some people like more soya sauce!!!"
That is such faux pas I have never seen before.
On the other hand the wagyu beef was out of this world and probably the best one we had.
Would be five star but that was such a blunder."

"Noio was one of the best dining experiences I had while visiting Hawaii. The sushi is offered in a fairly traditional Japanese style, which is unusual but very delightful, and offered a unique and delicious experience. The sushi is clearly fresh and high quality and left me craving more.
The price is quite high but worth it and the view and ambiance of the ocean from the second floor of the Four Seasons Resort is amazing. If you’re visiting Kona and willing to splurge a bit on excellent sushi, Noio will definitely appeal to you."
