Reviews Summary

Fish Hopper Kona is celebrated for its spectacular ocean views and consistent food quality, particularly its award-winning clam chowder and fresh seafood options. Many patrons praise the friendly service and the authentic Kona atmosphere, making it a repeat destination for visitors. However, some diners have noted slow service and found certain dishes, like the ribeye steaks, to be disappointing.

"Where do you even start with a place like this? The staff is super friendly, the views are spectacular and the food never disappoints. I'll admit I have been here several times when I use to visit here more frequently about 10 years ago. The place has not changed, just the staff. But everything service wise, food quality is still the same. Its like I never left. I came here last week with my wife for our honeymoon, and we spent lots of time here from breakfast, lunch, dinner and even happy hour. It was just perfect and exactly encompasses what Kona is all about. You will enjoy it, I promise you. But don't take my word for it."

Pedro Perez

"The fish trio was good, but the clam chowder was truly delicious and the highlight of the meal. The cocktails were wonderful as well. While island prices run a bit high, the quality, attentive service, and stunning view made the experience well worth it."

Beautiful-Soul

"I came here twice during my visit and I loved everything I tried. The Alfredo past was good and the chicken sandwich was sooo good! But my favorites were the fish and chips and the piña colada. Those were the best I’ve had."
