Dining in, the falafel—a blend of chickpeas, fava beans, parsley, and garlic—is served warm, but it can be enjoyed at room temperature. Same goes for the fries tossed in za’atar—a Middle Eastern spice used liberally in Lebanese cuisine.

Of course, don’t overlook the traditional hummus served with warm, house-made pita.

Mediterranean food has always been a personal favorite of mine, it’s that type of cuisine where you feel as if you’re being transported thousands of miles with each bite. FIGS did not miss a beat when it came to authenticity of their Lebanese dishes. That is likely to do with the owning family’s rich heritage that can also be felt throughout the entire hotel.

Figs: This delightful restaurant is attached to Hotel Jackson and it offers a fusion of Mediterranean and American cuisine. My family enjoyed sharing tasty appetizers and cocktails. Savor their fresh salads, flavorful flatbreads, and mouthwatering desserts in a cozy, romantic, and upscale atmosphere.

Great food is also a centerpiece at Hotel Jackson, with its excellent FIGS restaurant recently receiving the coveted Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence for its exceptional wine selection. The dining spot is a delightful and unexpected journey into the vibrant Lebanese cuisine of the hotel’s owners.

FIGS offers Mediterranean style foods with regionally sourced fresh ingredients. Located inside the grand Hotel Jackson, FIGS offers great food and a fantastic atmosphere. Sit by the warm fire and and relax as you sip amazing hand-crafted drinks and converse with those you love.

Finding free camping in the Grand Teton National Forest is simply not a problem. There are free campsites all around the Grand Tetons that are dog-friendly and great for campervans, RV’s and tents. I will warn you, the dirt roads are a little rough.

I heard such good things about this restaurant so this was a must-do on our trip. We ordered baba ghanoush, hummus (highly recommended), lamb kebabs, and veggies. This was plenty of food for the both of us!

The Mediterranean and Lebanese menu at Figs, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, may just be the tastiest in town. Indulgence is offset by the fact that it's Jackson's first LEED-certified hotel.

FIGS: this is the spot for award-winning Mediterranean and Lebanese food in downtown Jackson Hole. Their spices were incredible, and the hummus was heavenly (pictured below).

We finish the evening in Jackson at Figs, a Lebanese restaurant (who would imagine!) at the swank Jackson Hotel (the meal is excellent), then wander around.

Other places with fun menus that I would have liked to go to are: Gather (American), Teton Tiger (Asian), Kim’s Corner (Korean), and Figs (Lebanese).

A few good options to check out: Hand Fire Pizza (in an old movie theater and so cool!), Snake River Brewing, Liberty Burger, or FIGS.
