"There is a reason this place has been in business for over 65 years. Excellent seafood, salads and sides. The Fisherman’s Plate was so good. We throughly enjoyed the fried shrimp and catfish, oysters, stuffed crab, and grilled Bay scallops. The wedge salad was fresh and large enough to share. Our loaded baked potato was delicious."

We stopped in for an early dinner and had a fantastic experience. We ordered the fried catfish with salad and sweet potato fries, as well as the blackened catfish with salad and steamed broccoli. The blackened catfish was incredibly moist and flavorful, and both the salad and steamed broccoli were fresh and delicious. The fried catfish was just as good—crispy, perfectly cooked, and paired well with the tasty sides.
The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making our meal even more enjoyable.
If you're looking for a great spot for delicious seafood with excellent service, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back for sure!"

"Our dinner was very good at the Beechwood Restaurant. We had Fried Green Tomatoes with hollandaise sauce and a beautiful amount of lump crab on top. It was the best we have had in Vicksburg on our work trip. We had salad, baked potatoes and a beautiful and very tasty ribeye steak. Everything was very good!"
