What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners consistently praise The Blind Goat for its outstanding and unique flavors, with many highlighting the sticky wings and crawfish garlic noodles. The atmosphere and service are often commended, making it a memorable dining experience. However, some find the price point to be high for certain dishes, and a few items like dumplings and green curry have been noted as less impressive compared to other offerings.
"The food here is outstanding — full of flavor and beautifully presented. I truly admire Chef Christine Hà’s talent and vision; dining here feels both delicious and inspiring."

"$3 for a tiny bowl of rice? Really?
I left The Blind Goat disappointed. We were a party of four, we ordered a few of appertizers, dumpling (mediocre), pork belly skewers (very good) and the recommended sticky wings (very good). For dinner, we ordered the crawfish garlic noodle (very nicely cooked with lots of crawfish and flavorful), Grilled steak with green curry (steak is tender but didn’t get much of the green curry flavor), blistered green beans (very blend with little flavor, even Saltgrass steakhouse side dish green bean taste better, seriously), and Texas BBQ brisket fried rice (nicely cooked fried rice with good chunks of brisket). We ended our dinner with apple pie a la mode, which was highly recommended from the reviews, the apple pie mixed with some Asian spices tasted good but portion size was small because the pie is thin not the usual American apple pie you are accustomed to. Overall the dishes we had were somewhat hit and miss, but I just couldn’t get over the $3 for a very tiny bowl of steamed rice."
A-Lin Journey
"It was a nice enough place but I think for the price you can get better food. The Lo Mein, dumplings and Green curry were underwhelming. Get the brisket fried rice or the garlic and crawfish noodles instead. The wings were amazing, I would definitely go back for those and they are a great price during happy hour."

Where To Eat The Best Vietnamese In Houston
The brainchild of the extraordinary Ms Christine Hà – the young, legally blind MasterChef winner – The Blind Goat is a relative newcomer to the Houston food scene, but already a local favourite. Positioned at the centre of Bravery Chef Hall, a buzzy indoor market close to the heart of Downtown, it has a casual gastropub vibe which belies the aspirations of its menu.
