Even though BCN Taste & Tradition is located in the heart of Houston, once you walk in the door, you’re transported to the heart of Spain. Owned by a Barcelonan immigrant who moved to Houston in the early 90s, the experience and atmosphere of this restaurant are meant to honor owner Ignacio Torras’s hometown. This dream came to life when he met a Barcelonan chef who could recreate the scents, tastes, and memories from Barcelona.

You and your date should definitely split a few of their signature appetizers before the main course.

I think MF sushi, Uchi, Nobu, Pappas, Pass, UB preserve, (old one fifth steakhouse), BCN would be considered. Then probably a couple of weird places no one heard about in China town. I'm not saying the above would get it, but are all better than some of 1 star places I visited in the past.
