"We read this place was rated top burger joint in Hawaii for 6 years in a row, and it did not disappoint! The burger patties were clearly homemade, big, meaty, and messy! There were 6 of us, and something for everyone. I would recommend the California Burger, the Island Burger, and of course, The Fattie! My son took half to go, and he's a big boy! Drinks were great... not overly strong, but not straight mixer either. And the service! Nicole was our server, and she was AWESOME! Even brought my 8 year old a freeze pop after our meal. We sat outside, and it was well covered to help block the wind. The only couple cons... parking isn't the best. It's on a main street, so we had to walk a bit. And the outside furniture is metal and not very comfortable. But if you don't like it, just wait to sit inside. Totally worth the food and service for those two minor things though!"

"Had an amazing lunch at Hilo Burger Joint with my family, and it exceeded our expectations! They have a great variety of burgers, all perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The portions were satisfying, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food.
One must-know tip—skip the shoe-string fries and go for the hand-cut fries instead. They are ten times better and make a huge difference!
To top it off, the live music added such a fun and welcoming vibe to the experience. Great food, great prices, and great atmosphere—Hilo Burger Joint is a must-visit!"

"My son and I had the pleasure of eating here last night. Our server was so nice. We came in at 8:20pm(they closed at 9 pm). We were starving...lol ordered the bacon burger and a patty melt.
Both were awesome. The fries....omg! The fries were the best fries I think I've had in years. Great service, and they had karaoke going on.
The only problem? I forgot my leftovers there!!! Now we have to go back and eat there again! Lol
I'm so sorry I did not get a photo of my son's burger cause he dug in right away. He said it was great, though."
