What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tita's Grill is praised for its incredibly flavorful and generous portions of Hawaiian comfort food, with many highlighting the Loco Moco and garlic shrimp as must-try dishes. The friendly service and great value also stand out. While some note it can get busy, the wait is generally considered worthwhile for the quality and quantity of food served.
"If you are wanting some good food with quick and friendly customer service I recommend coming to Tita’s Grill! Ordered the Loco Moco for breakfast and it was the best Loco Moco I ever had! The rice was soft and with the salty flavorful meat with the rich brown gravy with sunny side up eggs to just tie everything together it’s literally heaven on a plate! And the pasta salad was an amazing side to compliment the dish! You can have this meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Will be coming again!"

"Food was great. We got the loco moco, Titas burger and a cheese burger. The cheeseburger my son got was large with a fresh homemade looking bun. For $8, seemed like a really good deal as a nearby stands price was $13 gor a cheeseburger. I also forgot to ask them to hold the mayo. I went to correct my order and they had already put mayo on the bun in preparation. They were nice enough to prepare a new bun even though I told they didn't have to get a new bun since it was my fault."

"We had a fantastic breakfast at this food truck. We stayed at the nearby hotel and would definitely recommend walking down here for breakfast verse the hotel's restaurant, it was so much better. The French toast especially was crazy good. The staff of the truck were super friendly as well."

Hukilau Marketplace at Polynesian Cultural Center
Another place that will fill you up is Tita’s Grill, a food truck from Kahuku that is now parked permanently at Hukilau Marketplace. We got to sample the garlic shrimp, one of the main dishes that made the food truck so popular, and it was exactly what you’d expect from a shrimp truck in Kahuku: amazing. The food truck now includes more seafood offerings from Sam Choy, including poke bowls. If you’re attending the evening luau at PCC and don’t want to ruin your appetite, you can still beat the heat with the awesome drinks served at the Marketplace.
