🐟This popular poke shop moved into a bigger location. 📍Poke for the People is still located in Haleiwa, but moved to a larger space (it’s now located across of Storto’s Deli and Nalu Health Bar & Café). They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a temaki handroll service Friday to Sunday evenings. #food #seafood #poke #pokebowl #oahu #northshore #haleiwa #hawaii #hawaiilife

Reviews Summary

Poke for the People is lauded for its incredibly fresh and flavorful poke bowls, with many highlighting the high quality of the fish and the generous, customizable options. The restaurant is also praised for its clean, inviting atmosphere and its ability to accommodate dietary needs like gluten-free preferences. While parking can be a minor inconvenience, the overall dining experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a must-visit on the North Shore.

"Poke for the People was a delicious and fresh Poke spot located in the North shore of Oahu. My friend and I went for lunch on a weekday, and it was busy but the line moved fast. I was happy to see there were plenty of gluten free options. I have Celiac, and the staff were careful to avoid cross contamination and make sure my food was safe!

I got the blue marlin poke (flavored with a creamy roasted garlic and sesame sauce). The fish was fresh and flavorful. The toppings were good too! I especially liked the purple sweet potato mash. The ratio of fish, toppings, and rice was well-balanced.

Steps away from many cute boutiques and surf shops, Poke for the People is a good choice for lunch after an afternoon of shopping and exploring the nearby Banzai Pipeline.

Note: There is indoor and outdoor seating. Street parking is limited- my friend and I parked at a shopping center 5 minutes away and walked to the restaurant."

"Very good poke bowls. We liked the fact staff was able to advice on different food allergy options. Prices are comparable to other similar places. Small parking place in front of the restaurant. Cosy atmosphere inside. We liked the place a lot!"

M Z

"Food is excellent, lots of choices for fish and for sides as well. They also have some other options besides poke. Reasonably priced for how delicious it is. Restaurant space is a little small but well located, not a whole lot of parking in front but there is some down the street"
