Spill The Beans is easily one of the best places to get ice cream in Greenville, SC. It’s a local ice cream shop that just happens to be situated next to Greenville’s favorite park, Falls Park. Particularly during the summer, you will find many people waiting in line for a Spill The Bean’s ice cream and then enjoying the pleasant scenery around Falls Park while they savor their treat. There are other great ice cream parlors in downtown Greenville such as the Blueberryfrog and Luna Rosa Gelato Cafe, but Spill The Beans is the local favorite.

When you’re ready for a break from shopping stop by Spill the Beans and try one of their many delicious ice cream flavors. Rent bikes for the day to experience the Swamp Rabbit Trail with access via Cleveland Park just 1/4 mile from the inn or at several points downtown. The beautiful, tree-lined Main Street area features shopping, dining at over 100 restaurants and several performing arts venues including the Bon Secours Wellness Arena, just one block from the inn.

Spill the Beans is a coffee shop and a craft ice cream parlor all in one. They offer ice cream, coffee, and desserts in their shop located next to Falls Park making it a wonderful place to grab a cool snack of ice cream on a hot summer day. We haven't actually been to Spill the Beans so I can't personally attest for what's it's like, but after visiting Greenville and hearing from more of the locals, this was one of the most recommended places that we missed.

Only steps from the Liberty Bridge and Falls Park, Spill the Beans makes its own waffle cones and has outstanding ice cream. The “Table for Two” option holds all kinds of promise for an afternoon of total pampering together: rich robes and slippers and a visit to the Luxury Suite where your body and mind will be soothed and renewed by a skilled masseuse.

After a breakfast of coffee and bagels at Spill the Beans, we sauntered along the trail to Reedy River Falls. Not many cities can boast of a waterfall flowing through downtown, so it only makes sense that Greenville has wisely decided to capitalize on it. Millions of dollars were spent creating upscale 32-acre Falls Park, replete with terraced levels and eye-pleasing natural landscaping.

Located at the steps of Falls Park, Spill the Beans is the best little coffee to shop to meet up with friends and hang inside or out and totally spill the beans. With amazing views of the Reedy River Falls you can't help but grab your coffee and people watch or peruse the park paths. Spill the beans even makes custom blended ice cream in many flavors!

I’m always on the hunt for the best local coffee shop and Spill the Beans did not disappoint. The cafe is cozy and filled with the sweet smell of homemade waffle cones (yes, they also serve ice cream!). We tried one of their signature drinks, the Maffioso, consisting of deep, roasty espresso, milk, and a smooth caramel finish.

Spill the Beans is unique in that it is both a coffeehouse and a gelato shop. As you can imagine, it’s quite popular with tourists, especially during the hot summer season. While the coffee here is not as fantastic as some other places on this list, the beautiful ambiance and convenient location is what sets this one apart.

Spill the Beans: As you may have read from the Clemson Main Street Blog, Spill the Beans is one of my favorite ice cream places…ever. The STB in Clemson has a much different vibe than the one in Greenville but the ice cream is the same!. This is a great place to grab a coffee and do work.

Falls Park is a 32-acre park in the historic West End district. The centerpiece of the park is the 28 foot cascade of the Reedy River Falls. In 2004, the 345 foot long Liberty Bridge pedestrian walkway was completed to accentuate the beauty of the falls and is the perfect viewing deck.

Spill the Beans is located right next to Falls Park in downtown Greenville. They have a good selection of both ice cream and coffee which is perfect for those hot days downtown. With over 2,000,000 coffees served over the years, they certainly know what they are doing.
