Reviews Summary

Roost Restaurant is celebrated for its vibrant atmosphere and sophisticated, seasonal American fare, with many praising standout dishes like the artichoke toast and pimento cheese-crusted filet. The service is often described as attentive and professional. However, some diners have found the restaurant to be small and noisy, with occasional issues regarding food seasoning or beverage temperature.

"Wonderful place with great ambiance. We had a large party and everyone enjoyed their food & drinks tonight. I did not LOVE my scallops, because they tasted a little fishy, but the delicious Brussel sprouts & other items made up for them. We also got several appetizers & they did not disappoint. Our favorite was the Artichoke Toast. Our waiter, Paul. Was very attentive & friendly."

Jen Chessor

"My mom and I came here 2 months ago for a pre-show lunch, and we were not disappointed! I can't remember exactly what it was called, but we had an appetizer of fried cheese nuggets with some dipping sauce that tasted amazing. I had the philly cheesesteak, and oh my god was that cheese sauce heaven! I had a campfire s'more cocktail that was absolute delicious, and my mom had the spicy pineapple margarita which looked amazing as well. I also want to point out that Jasmine was our server, and she was very polite and professional during our time there. Everything was so nice, the food, the service, the atmosphere... well worth the visit!"

Shelby Pitts

"Their temporary location is the 2nd floor of a hotel. Food is delicious & large portions are served. Great atmosphere & service."

Here, you’ll find Roost Restaurant, at the Hyatt Regency Greenville. Farm-to-fork is the focus of the menu, recently updated by Executive Chef Zac Leepper, who worked in a couple of Michelin-starred restaurant kitchens in his old stomping ground of Chicago before taking the helm at Roost. A Pimento Cheese-Crusted Filet, Duck, Roost (smoked duck breast with cherry gastrique), and a vadouvan curry-spiced Cauliflower Steak will give you an idea of the cuisine’s range.
