What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Jamaica Mi Irie is celebrated for its authentic Jamaican cuisine, with many praising the flavorful jerk chicken and oxtails. However, some diners have noted issues with inconsistent seasoning, dryness in some dishes, and occasionally inattentive service. While the vibrant atmosphere is appreciated, concerns about portion sizes and pricing for certain items have also been raised by patrons.
"Simple: I love Jamaican food! This was good and the atmosphere was nice. I waited for this location to open since they have two. Ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas ,jerk chicken sandwich, coco bread, and beef patty. All was such a good portion I had much leftovers. Their fruit punch is also good. Spent around $35 and my colleague enjoyed their curry chicken. I would attend again and recommend."

"Enjoyed this meal with my childhood friend Antonio. Oh I had the lamb with plantain. Also they didn't have ketchup so they made some up for me! Thank you!!!!
The meal was great the service was great! Thank you there was no one there when we got there then there were two other couples. There was a woman that came from the streets was allowed to go to the restroom to freshen up. That was so kind of them. I met her and spoke to her. It was a moment in time I'll never forget. I smiled at her and she looked at me and Mike's and told me that I was beautiful and I told her the same. She asked for some change to get McDonald's but I didn't have it to give. After she left I didn't think to just give her my left over plate. That hurt me that I wasn't quick on my feet to serve her. Lord has forgiven me. Anyway it was a nice place to be downtown Greenville!"
