"Cute little spot in Golden! The honey roasted duck was delish, as was the mai tai (cocktail). I can't remember our server's name but he was from Texas (as is our group) and he was great!"

"We went to Thai Gold in the weekend for lunch. Started with a long wait at gate, though it was no where near to the capacity. The ambience looked old school, homely but need lot of maintenance. The table and chairs were not clean or comfortable, floors were dirty. We waited for the food we ordered, the staffs were trying hard to manage the few guests. We requested for water without ice but got glasses full of ice. Foods were delivered within 10-15 minutes but without silverware. We had to request multiple times, still did not get knives. We order some noodles and beef vegetable starters. The food was too bland and sweet which is quite unbecoming of thai food. The quality was not up to the mark the quantity was also too less considering the price. Not easy to find parking around this place. We will not visit again nor will recommend."

"Lovely place with great ambience and pleasant decor. We loved the crispy Duck while it was a tad over done. The Tom Yum did not quite make it and felt made from a bad quality ready made soup pack. However, the Penang curry was good though it didn't quite taste authentic. The Mango Sticky rice was average as the mango wasn't the right one and the flavours didn't stand up. The staffs warmth and the Veggie Kapow made up for the negatives and we would give it another shot."
