With a western-inspired menu including locally sourced beef, Rocky Mountain Trout, sustainable salmon, and local craft beers and spirits decorated with fresh basil pulled from the garden, Krissy served us up everything “House Made” as we sat on the patio enjoying the intimate and private setting. Of course, the Fried Chips with House Made Ranch was set right before me and I delicately devoured all of them, along with Duck Wings and House Smoked Trout Fillet, the perfect fare to enjoy after flyfishing on the gold medal waters all day, or after a long day of horseback riding out in the wilderness.

CO Ranch House features a western-inspired menu that relies on prime protein choices including locally sourced beef and elk, Rocky Mountain trout and sustainably raised salmon. CO Ranch House offers a relaxed, yet elevated setting that welcomes one and all. In addition to the cozy bar and restaurant seating at the front of the house, there are also two patios, one in front and the other out back for alfresco drinks and dinner.

Ranch House and the Pullman are highly rated for classic, Western comfort food that’s satisfying without pretension, while Juicy Lucy’s and Smoke Modern BBQ are also great for casual bites. For a more unique dining experience, pay a visit to the Rivera Supper Club, an entertainment establishment run by Phantom of the Opera Musical Director, or the Glenwood Vaudeville Revue, which also boasts dinner and show.

This rustic resto has Western, wooden interiors and native art pieces on the walls, reminiscent of an American ranch. It’s perfect with the Rocky Mountains of Colorado as a backdrop in its gorgeous outdoor patio.

Consider Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse, Smoke Modern Barbecue, CO Ranch House and The Italian Underground. For a brewery/bar atmosphere, head to Glenwood Canyon Brewpub and Native Son. Slope and Hatch is an ideal quick option with tacos, hotdogs and snacks ordered at the counter along with a selection of cocktails and more.

Across the bridge from the Hot Springs Lodge in downtown Glenwood Springs is another super yummy restaurant called Colorado Ranch House. The decor and food is western-inspired with some of the best game you’ll ever eat. They serve locally sourced beef and Rocky Mountain Trout, as well as local beer.

Western-inspired, the CO Ranch House is an excellent place to eat. Located on Restaurant Row in Glenwood Springs, they pride themselves in using locally-sourced products, including ranch-raised beef, sustainable salmon, Rocky Mountain trout, local spirits, and craft beer.

Dinner – We got in late and were torn between a few places for dinner but when we walked past CO Ranch House we knew we had found our spot. CO Ranch House decor is perfect!. White wash walls, warm lighting, and a tasteful western cowboy decor.

Some of the best restaurants preferred by locals include Juicy Lucy's Steakhouse, The Pullman, Brava Modern Trattoria, Riviera, CO Ranch House, Smoke Modern Barbeque, and Glenwood Canyon Brewpub.

Colorado Ranch House matches its Western environment with a menu of elk, smoked trout and duck wings. Another upscale option is The Pullman, with a rotating menu of thoughtfully crafted plates.

CO Ranch House’s breakfast menu will have holiday additions including Banana Foster French Toast and Oscar Style Eggs Benedict. As always at the restaurant, no reservations necessary.

Just a short walk across the bridge from Hotel Colorado you will find a street full of restaurants, such as, Juicy Lucy’s, CO Ranch House, and KC Wing House and Sports Bar.

CO Ranch House was adorable and such a good, upscale dinner. We got the surf and turf special but I don’t believe you could go wrong if you tried.
