What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tommy's Pizza is a highly-rated, family-run establishment in Gettysburg known for its delicious pizzas, especially the Greek-style. While many praise the generous toppings, good cheese, and friendly service, some reviews mention issues with pizzas being overcooked or underbaked. Despite occasional inconsistencies, the restaurant remains a popular choice for its classic pizza parlor feel and craft beer selection.
"My friend told me to try out Tommy's Pizza. I am so glad we did. We did pick up. We got fries, mozzarella sticks and pizza. It was so delicious. If I wasn't full I would have eaten it all. I wish they were in my area because it was legitimately so good. I haven't had a real good pizza in a long time. The crust was perfect not too thick not too thin, they had a perfect amount of cheese and sauce and a good amount of mushrooms. The gentleman who took our order was also very nice and courteous. We will definitely go back before we leave here and go home, I saw a white pizza on the menu I really wanted to try too."

"I put this place on my ‘want to visit’ list when I knew I was coming to Gettysburg. Today was my first day touring the battlefields and I broke off for a lunch break at Tommy’s. It was almost 3pm but the place was hopping.
I want to say that everyone I’ve encountered in Gettysburg has been very friendly and the staff at Tommy’s was no exception. Very nice people.
Since I was a party of one, I had a small supreme pizza. It was ready in about 15 minutes. Very nice pizza. The taste of everything reminded me of the Round Table chain back on the west coast, which is my favorite pizza chain. It was a good pizza. I ate half for lunch and the second half when I got back to my room in the evening.
The things that stood out to me on the pizza were the cheese (very, very good) and the sausage. It had nice seasoning and good flavor. The sauce was a little lacking in oomph, but it was decent. The crust, while cooked about as crispy as you could get it, was a little overwhelmed by the amount of ingredients that a supreme carries. It would have been perfect with a two or three topping pie."

"I don't know what happened, the pizza used to be great. Always come here while in the area. Drove over 2 hours to get the pizza and a T-shirt on my husband's birthday. Get home and pizza was horribly over cooked. It was worse then gas station pizza. Quality has definitely taken a huge nose dive."
